The camp experience is based off of the five pillars of camp GLOSS: Grit, Leadership, Opportunity, Self & Service. Each day at camp combines learning, playfulness and outdoor fun. We partner with community organizations including: Bike Utah, Park City Sailing, Nuzzles & Co. & Healing Mountain Massage to ensure a myriad of fun activities throughout the week.
Like almost all summer camps, there will be water, games, art, popsicles, and probably a get-to-know you activity on the first day. In addition to your basic summer camp agenda, each day at Camp GLOSS will include a mindfulness activity (not the boring sit silent kind), and some outdoor activity including but not limited to: yoga, biking & hiking (no experience necessary for any of these). Additionally, we engage in self-reflection and journaling every day.
Each camper will also take a personality assessment, and do a deep dive into their individual strengths & stretches.
Snacks will be provided throughout the day, but campers will need to pack lunches Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday. Thursday will be a group cooking day & Friday will be a pizza party.
Camp is from 9am -5pm and is Hosted at the Blair Education Center in Park City. There is a transportation option for those traveling from Salt Lake City. While we use the Blair Education Center as home-base, girls will be out-and-about every day. Early-bird pricing is $350 and includes a week of camp, two meals and snacks throughout the week, a camp tee-shirt and so much more. Register below.
In order to have fun, we must first keep everyone safe. We are prepared to operate camp in accordance with the most recent CDC guidelines. We will update you on requirements as we approach the week of camp. They will be consistent with summit county recommendations.
