Why GLOSS?

GLOSS is an acronym for

GRIT LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY SERVICE SELF

Upcoming camps, classes, & programs

In 2021 our theme is “You’ve Got This” and our goal this year is to reach more young women!

We will be offering outdoor inperson camps this summer! Join us as we support young women ages 11-18 emotionally and physically as they navigate the challenges of life.

This year our program will include:

  • Our week long summer camps will continue to be held in Park City, Utah. Each day of camp will provide opportunities for mental, physical, & social growth by focusing on our 5 pillars of GLOSS —> Grit, Leadership, Opportunity, Service, & Self. Experiential learning activities will include learning to sail, self defense, practicing mindfulness, identifying strengths, improving communication, practicing yoga, & exploring a variety of art activities. Dates & times TBA.

  • A monthly virtual book club. Join us as we read books that inspire action and growth. Dates & time TBA.

Our Story + Impact

Camp GLOSS is a 501 (c)3 launched in 2017 by 2 mental health professionals with a goal to frontload young women with GLOSS - Grit, Leadership, Opportunity, Service, & Self Awareness while they are in their teenage years.

Our programs have impacted young women in a positive way increasing confidence and resilience by utilizing experiential learning opportunities in the outdoors!

With each program we have quantitative & qualitative pre and post camp assessments and apply feedback in real-time that keep us on track to support young women with the challenges they face right now.

In 2021, we hope to continue our growth by offering more virtual & “in-person” camps, workshops, and classes so we can fulfill our mission to empower and inspire young women in Utah and across the country.
